I find the on-screen chemistry between Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried in the upcoming tear-jerker, Dear John, to be almost perfect. They look so good together - Channing tatum, with his 'male model' looks, is definitely the best choice for the role of John, the angry young rebel and the elegant Amanda Seyfried is simply the perfect Savannah, the beautiful and unasuming lass who captured John's heart.
You can watch the trailer after the jump! Based on the book by Nicholas Sparks, expect a lot of heartwarming scenes, reminiscent of another novel by Sparks, The Notebook, which stars Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams.
Sparks, who has a reputation for writing romantic novels with tragic endings has this to say:
Dear John will be shown next February 2010. I am really looking forward to this movie. Finally, a role that is both 'substance and form' is given to Channing Tatum. I just hope, he'll deliver, just like Amanda Seyfried, who is definitely one actress to watch. - - - What's on your mind? What are some of your initial reactions after watching the trailer?
