Our latest viewers' survey is more than just a teaser to the upcoming Top 50 Hottest Young Actresses. In fact, it serves as a spotlight to a select few young women who are not only talented actresses, but also quite glamorous. At this time, they are already beginning to show their own unique personal style. - - -
- - - Top (from left) we have Ashley Greene, Camilla Belle, Emma Watson, Clémence Poésy, Kristen Stewart and Evan Rachel Wood. There are, of course, a lot of young actresses who might exhibit a more 'prominent' fashion sense, but we can have them featured later on... Clémence Poésy -The French actress has appeared in numerous fashion magazines and in the Chloé fragance commercial, among others. She is definitely an actress with an undeniable fashion sense. This 26-year old French actress is best remembered for her role as Fleur Delacour in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, but she has done some impressive acting in a number of indie and French films as well - In Bruges, Le grand Meaulnes, La troisième partie du monde (with Gaspard Ulliel) and the TV series "War and Peace". - - -

Says the French actress:: I don't know if I see myself as an actress for the rest of my life,” she admits. “I am interested in costume. Clothes in your daily life are important: your choices say something about you, even if what they're saying is about non-choice. And what you wear in a film is crucial. A film is a great deal about what you see, and the silhouette of a character tells you a lot. Kristen Stewart - Regarded today as one of cinema's most sought-after young actresses, Kristen Stewart is riding high on the wave of Twilight success! She may only appeared in a handful of films, but Kristen Stewart has managed to conquer roles in such hits as Panic Room, Zathura: A Space Adventure, The Messengers, and What Just Happened? She is definitely coming out of her shell and has demonstrated a style uniquely her own. With her upcoming role as Joan Jett in The Runaways, she will further provide her legion of fans another glimpse into what is fashionable - Kristen's style. - - -

Says Kristen: Acting is such a personal thing, which is weird because at the same time it's not. It's for the consumption of other people. But in terms of creative outlets and expressing yourself, it's just the most extreme version of that that I've ever found. It's like running, it's exertion. When you reach that point where you can't go anymore and you stop and you take a breath, it's that same sort of clearing of the mind. Evan Rachel-Wood - Her relationship with singer Marilyn Manson has earned her a certain notoriety, and it includes the way she dresses. But Evan Rachel Wood is not only a talented movie actress but is already considered as one of cinema's leading ladies. She also proudly includes in her resume her talent as a singer. She made her debut as a leading film actress in 2002's Little Secrets, becoming more widely known after her transition to a more adult-oriented Golden Globe-nominated role in the critically acclaimed Thirteen. Her role in The Wrestler further solidify her hold as a talent to reckon with. - - -

Says Wood: If I picked up a script and it was all about car racing and there were absolutely no consequences and they were just kind of wrecking cars. I hate watching movies where there are giant car chases and they’re hitting cars and getting into accidents and they never [say], “Hey, what about the people you just killed?” I try to avoid that. If I’m going to do anything extreme, I want it to have consequences. Ashley Greene - She has this potent mix of charm, sexiness and wit to be considered one of cinema's most exciting up and coming young actresses. Her role in the giant hit Twilight maybe a supporting one, but Ashley Greene is not one aiming for just bit parts. She has done some notable roles before Twilight, including King of California, with fellow actress Evan Rachel Wood. In time, she'll get that dream role! - - -

Says Ashley: I really would love to do a piece like Julia Roberts or Charlize Theron in Erin Brockovich or North Country. They were both so amazing and so inspiring. I would love to touch someone in the way they’re performances touched me. Obviously that will be when I play 30 and not 16 so I have time. Also a time piece. Playing Alice is pretty ideal as well. I get to do everything! Hmmm…. well I’m already working with a bunch of hotties now haha. But besides those guys Mr Johnny Depp is the first that pops into my head. Camilla Belle - Is she gorgeous and fashionable or is she a fashion victim? You be the judge! While some celebrity trash bloggers criticized her lack of fashion sense, top fashion glossies such as Vogue and GQ can't seem to get enough of her (or so it seems). Remember, her mother is a fashion designer! I first saw her in The Chumscrubber and find her to be quite cool. While I don't particularly like her next movie, When A Stranger Calls, I still think she got such a tremendous on-screen presence. - - -

A recent inteview described how she was introduced into the industry: Belle had her first professional picture taken at 9 months old and has acted in 11 movies since. Only in Hollywood can a girl at the ripe old age of 18 feel conscious about getting older, so she's looking at the big picture: writing, directing, and getting into Princeton. "It's such a gorgeous campus," she says of the Ivy League institution, which is, incidentally, the alma mater of Brooke Shields. "My mom and I visited twice. I love the curriculum. I love the students. I just love everything about it." Finally, Emma Watson - Born in France but very definitely known as a young British actress, Emma Watson has become an attractive, stylish and versatile talent. AskMen wrote an awesome profile of Emma, and below happens to be my favorite part: Some actors never experience commercial success, and then there’s Emma Watson. The Oxford schoolgirl made her acting debut in 2001 in an intimate little film called Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Based on the best-selling novel by J.K. Rowling, the blockbuster film went on to make $975 million worldwide en route to becoming one of the most lucrative movies of all time. Emma Watson has since shown off her impressive acting chops in the successful sequels... - - -

To prove she is up for the title 'Most Glamorous Young Actress', her shots in the latest Burberry campaign has been declared a winner, and it was no less than Vogue which reported: "THE biggest ego boost of my life," is how Emma Watson described her recent Burberry campaign shoot with Mario Testino - and now we can have an exclusive peek at just what that incredible day was like for the young actress. "Emma is part of the Burberry family, we've worked with her on lots of different things," Burberry creative director Christopher Bailey revealed whilst on location in Westminster with Watson and Testino. "She is one of the great new British icons." - - - What's on your mind? Who among these six young actresses is the most glamorous? Why? Let us know what you think! - - - |
